Bath Complex at the Resort
This bathhouse is probably one of the most charming projects in our practice. Designed as part of a resort surrounded by forest, it overlooks a peaceful pond that was created on site after we discovered a natural spring rising from the ground.
The building was crafted from Kelo wood — naturally dried standing timber known for its exceptional durability, rich texture, and timeless character. This material is especially well suited for traditional bathhouses and saunas, bringing together strength, warmth, and a deep connection to nature.
SOZDAN DESIGN approached this project as more than a small resort building. It became a quiet retreat shaped by water, wood, landscape, and atmosphere. The bathhouse feels natural in its setting, as if it has always belonged there — simple, honest, warm, and deeply connected to the surrounding environment.
With its view toward the pond, tactile timber walls, and calm architectural presence, the project creates an intimate wellness experience rooted in natural materials and the spirit of the northern landscape.
