Karelia Resort Guest Houses

This project included ten guest houses designed for a resort in Karelia, surrounded by a dense northern forest landscape. SOZDAN was responsible not only for the architectural design, but also served as the general contractor, bringing the project from concept to construction.

During the framing stage, Egor was personally involved on site, working directly with the construction process and ensuring that the design intent was carried through in every detail. This hands-on experience allowed us to maintain a strong connection between the architectural idea, structural logic, and final execution.

We are especially proud of how restrained, clear, and natural these guest houses feel within their setting. Their simple forms, thoughtful proportions, and honest materials allow the architecture to blend quietly into the forest rather than compete with it. The result is a collection of guest houses that feel calm, functional, and deeply connected to the surrounding landscape.​
