A concept design for a multifamily residential building in Hamburg, Germany, featuring underground parking and a small café integrated into the courtyard.

   Located within a dense urban context, the site is shaped by surrounding development and a strict set of local planning regulations. The design challenge was to make the most of a limited building envelope while creating a functional residential environment with a clear architectural identity.

   The project is defined by a restrained contemporary language, carefully considered proportions, and a strong relationship between the building and its shared outdoor space. Special attention was given to the courtyard, which was designed as an active communal area rather than simply the residual space between buildings. The small café helps bring activity to the ground level and contributes to a more welcoming, neighborhood-oriented atmosphere.

   The result is a compact urban housing concept that balances density, regulatory constraints, functionality, and a distinct architectural character.
