This guest house was one of our first country house projects, completed in the Vartemyagi cottage community in 2006. In the years that followed, SOZDAN DESIGN completed around a dozen more projects in this area, making this house an important starting point in our residential practice.

   At the beginning of the project, the property already included a main house, garage, and fencing, which established the overall architectural direction for the site. Our task was to design a guest house with a spacious leisure area that would complement the existing buildings while bringing new value and function to the property.

   As the project developed, it became clear that the new guest house was becoming more than just an addition. With its generous recreational spaces and strong presence on the site, it gradually became one of the most important buildings on the property — and in many ways, even more central to the life of the home than the original main house.

   The result is a comfortable and expressive country guest house designed for relaxation, family gatherings, and everyday enjoyment. It reflects an early stage of our work, where practical site planning, architectural continuity, and a strong sense of place came together in a meaningful way.
